IBA Leaders Connect: Creating Impact Where it Matters
The Resource Mobilization department of IBA organized an engaging gathering, inviting leaders from top industries to connect and engage. The event showcased alumni success stories and featured a presentation by Malahat Awan, Director of Alumni Affairs, Resource Mobilization & Corporate Affairs, highlighting IBA's impact and partnership opportunities.
Distinguished industry leader Mr. Hussain Dawood, Chairman of Dawood Hercules Ltd and Engro Corporation Ltd graced the event with his presence, delivering a compelling address emphasizing resilience and faith in navigating life's challenges.
Attended by over 200 individuals, including CEOs and industry representatives, the event fostered meaningful dialogue.

IBA Karachi Hosts Annual Career Fair 2024
IBA Karachi's Annual Career Fair 2024, organized by the CDC, saw a robust turnout with 170+ companies and 40 career counselors. Executive Director Dr. S Akbar Zaidi highlighted its significance, emphasizing student-industry interaction. 'Career Vista', powered by Bank Alfalah, offered insightful discussions with industry experts from brands like P&G and Meezan Bank. Supported by sponsors including Bank Alfalah and Ismail Industries Limited, the fair proved instrumental in connecting students with career opportunities.
IBA Karachi Hosts USAID's Student Services Training
IBA Karachi, as a partner of USAID's HESSA, hosted a four-day training focused on mental health and microenterprise development. Led by experts Dr. Kari Trexler Ellingson and Islam M. Orban, participants from 16 universities engaged in sessions on micro-counseling, career counseling, and incubator design. Chief of Party Dr. Kenneth Holland praised IBA students' ambition and HESSA's role in nurturing future professionals. The program aimed to enhance student services and accessibility in higher education, showcasing collaborative efforts in advancing educational quality.
ED Welcomes AKESP & AKHSS Delegation: Educational Collaborations
Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, alongside the NTHP Team, warmly received a diverse delegation from AKESP and AKHSS. Aimed at fostering academic exchange, discussions spanned educational programs and potential collaborations.
